I led the design of Juice Media’s advertising analytics platform, enabling clients and internal teams to measure and optimize audio, television, and OTT ad campaigns. Juice Media hired me to design an advertising analytics platform for measuring and optimizing audio, television, and OTT ad campaigns. The platform was part of a managed service, and served two key audiences: clients, who needed clear performance insights,
and our internal customer success team, who used it to review progress with the clients and recommend optimizations. The challenge was to identify relevant data, anticipate user needs, and present insights in a clear, actionable way.
The Process
Designing these products required a deep understanding of our users. To achieve this, we spent a lot of time listening.

Understanding Our Users
We identified and researched three key personas to inform our design approach:
- External Marketers (Clients) – Responsible for analyzing campaign performance and reporting insights to the CMO.
- Customer Success Agents – Internal team members who review monthly progress and recommend optimizations.
- Ad Ops Team – Handles media buying and needs access to historical and recommended ad spot purchases.


Information Hierarchy
To ensure clarity and usability, I designed a very simple page template structure to align with user needs:
- Top of the page → High-level insights for external marketers.
- Mid-page → Detailed visual breakdowns for customer success agents to discuss with clients.
- Bottom of the page → Exportable tables with historical and recommended ad spot buys for ad ops and marketing analysts.
Insights
One of my key contributions was the conceptualization and design of insights pages. These pages leveraged the intersection of various metrics to surface meaningful, actionable insights within the data, making it easier for users to identify optimization opportunities.

The Solution
The JMP platform delivers a highly visual representation of advanced marketing models, including MTA, MMM, Shapley, and Markov models, enabling users to understand campaign effectiveness with clarity and depth.
The Results
The JMP platform not only surpassed competing solutions in usability and analytical depth but also became a powerful asset for both internal teams and clients. By streamlining campaign analysis and delivering clear, actionable insights, it significantly improved efficiency for customer success teams and provided clients with deeper visibility into their advertising performance.
Additionally, the platform served as a differentiator in the market, helping the sales team attract new clients by showcasing its advanced analytics and intuitive design. The introduction of insights-driven reporting further strengthened client relationships, leading to increased trust and retention. Ultimately, the project positioned Juice Media as a leader in data-driven advertising optimization.



Before the designs were even implemented, they were used in a sales presentation, and played a critical role in landing a $60M campaign.
